Sample Extraction

At ABS laboratories we have many years experience of analyte extraction from a wide range of bio fluids and tissues.

Typically we employ:

	Liquid/Liquid and micro Liquid/Liquid extraction
	Solid Phase Extraction
	Protein precipitation in tubes or 96-well format

Chromatography

We offer both gas and liquid chromatographical methods using the most appropriate instrumentation and column technology.

Typically for LC we use : 

	Reversed phase, cation exchange and normal phase chromatography
	Chiral column chromatography
	Isocratic, normal  and fast gradient separations
	Our staff also have practical experience in the development and application of capillary LC-MS methods down to 180µM column internal diameters.

For GC we use : 

	The latest capillary column technology with low bleed characteristics. This facilitates increased sensitivity in trace analysis and reduced analysis times.
	Temperature and pressure programming
	A wide range of derivatisation chemistries to help chromatograph your analytes of interest and/or improve their selectivity and sensitivity.
	Our scientists also have vast practical experience in the development and application of GC and GC-MS for the separation and determination of a diverse range of analytes.
